Nice job with this group as well. The OJ is always pleasing, but you did well with the pet wood. Looks like it didn't fracture alot and turned out nicely. Wish I could have the same luck with AZ pet wood, though it tends to fracture quite a bit.

Great material and great job tumbling. Ocean Jasper is always a fan favorite but some of those RIO pictures are really cool. I want to see this one in person. I love when there is a quartz window that lets you see inside of the rock. Hard to capture how cool that is in photo's. Chuck

This particular piece was really awesome color. It really sounds like glass hitting glass when polished.

I really do love the contrast between the pieces with quartz and with the pet wood.

You sure put a nice shine on those! I like the ones with the quartz veins in them, too. Besides the one Chuck posted, these two also had some nice depth to the "cracks."
I think this is my fav OJ-
Keep up the great work, and keep posting! Jean

Thank you Jean!
Ive got the shine down for the most part. Now I need to figure out how to reduce fracturing and chips. I know some rocks are more prone than others of course. I also would prefer to pre shape on my tile saw more for a more perfect finished tumble shape, however it is so much more work to do so versus smashing with a chisel and hammer which is what all the pet wood was.

I had to find this post after you mentioning it in the Petrified wood for sale in the Marketplace. I must have missed it because I sure would have remembered it. You do such a fine job with your tumbling. The wood is awesome.

Great polish on this batch! My favorites are: 1)the white OJ with the heavy band of orbs going through it, 2)the layered black and white with the crystal top, and 3)the pet wood with the qrartz window (that Chuck mentioned). Oh yes, your favorite OJ (last pic) is right there too!

You have some great tumbles with several being my favorites. I especially like the wood with quartz and numbers 4 and 7 from the bottom for OJ.
