You mean like this? Dining room rocks... Mine are a tad more organized. All in boxes neatly lined up. Actually some have been stuffed under my bed now

Raising my hand! Me, too! I work in my diningroom/kitchen area. Everything, all the hobbies, including DH's, are done here. I don't tumble, though. I do cab. I put my torches away for awhile so the acetylene tank that was bungeed to the table leg is gone now. LOL! My rug was destroyed, too. I found a great place to get indoor/outdoor bound rugs to nicley cover a work area. Wait for a coupon and get a great one. I got one to cover my whole area for like 100.00 koeckritzrugs.com/ Fast ship, too. My mudroom/front porch is floor to ceiling slabs. Equipment everywhere. Luckily, I have a dedicated space for my genie, so he can be put away. Then we can have a kitchen table when needed. Ive been looking more and more at the Genie. Is it pretty clean to use inside, on my kitchen table?

Is it pretty clean to use inside, on my kitchen table? YES! The first 2 wheels, which, of course, are coarse, throw off more water than the soft ones- not too much, though, so I wear an adult terrycloth bib (which comes in handy to wipe the stone, too). Other than that, it is clean and simple to set up and put away. It can be loud, though. Esp. on the 80 wheel with an agate. I always give everyone a warning first. Also, it's heavy. I usually get one of the menfolk to move it for me. It's not TOO heavy, but it's an awkwardly large size. When I got mine, it was mounted with a piece of wood on the bottom for shipping. I left it on. I suggest anyone do that who will be moving it around. It lends more support to the middle.

When I go out to collect I bring home my backpack and soak everything in a bucket, rinse them off, then scrub them in the kitchen sink with soapy water. Then I sort. Fairburns, wood, bubblegums, tumble, cut. And "just rocks" Then into bags, which are stuffed and piling up.
