I agree with Brett, from what I see, you can read the stone and you work with its original shape. The cut brings out the stone, not the cut is the object. My wife is really excited with your work. Have you tried Intarsia? If you go to Lapidaryjournal.com you will find a tutorial on making Opal Intarsia. The opal could be substituted with any other stone. I think you can do it. Let me know. Intarsia brings the big bucks.

Take your time brudda, I want some stuff you are proud of. Quality takes time. I really like your stuff and it takes what it takes. You need to modify the tinfoil hat and build a pyramid into it. That will help.

And there's some rumors going round Someone's underground She can rock you in the nighttime til your skin turns red..."

OK everyone! synchonoze your Tin Foil Hats, point them in the general direction of the Aurora Borealis, put your turntable to 78 rpm and let's ROCK!

Sands, those are beautiful! As usual! You are quite the artist when it comes to cutting and grinding your freeforms. You definitely have the eye for bringing out the hidden beauty of the stone.

Sands. I love em. You have work I like for my shop. I will send you a private with my addy. I plan on wire wrapping them and I will send photos of them when I am done. You do good work. If you go anywhere near Cape May NJ., they have quote Cape May Diamonds. They are actually blue to clear star saphires. I heard today they are all over the beach down there. They grind well and have a definate star.

LLana, be gentle with me, I am young fragile and impressionable. This will be my first time and I am anxious. I hope there is no accident. I am a freeze dried hippie, so even though the years have gone by, I just came to. It is like I am 16 again and it is all new. What happened to the Fender Stratocaster? How come Guild is no longer spoken? What is this....Martin was bought out by Aspen, and Aspen is owned by Mitsubishi Motors? When did the best American guitar in the world become a subsidiary of a Japanese Auto manufacturer we defeated in WWII? How do I get back to where I came from? I cannot look, I want to go to Yasgurs farm! Love Beads, Timothy Leary, Magic Bus, CSNY, Lets do the time warp again....First I jump to the left....
