A little bit of everything in this one. Some nice stuff in the mix. These are the ones that did not make it into the close up shots 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 These 4 pieces of tiger eye were only tumbled one week in 60/90 then tossed in the vibe for the normal steps. They are going to be used as a teaching tool about why not to follow rock tumbler instructions. I posted this rock before but I have done some repairs and it is much better now. The pair in #1 is number one for me. I also really like the repaired rock. Good idea to take pictures of the proces for your next tumbling demonstration.

WOW! Great save on that last one. And, yes- I love the roses, too. Thanks. I was really trying to avoid grinding that flaw out but I just was not satisfied leaving it. If you look close at the before and after you can see I lost some nice details after grinding. It is a killer rock still and now it is flawless. Chuck

Very impressive! You're willing to make the effort, so you get the great results. I have never gone back to repair a tumbled stone so I don't get your type of results (except for a few lucky ones).

Thanks. Some rocks are worth the extra effort. That is the best part about tumbling. You can usually fix a problem. Cabbing is not so forgiving. Chuck

Super batch, Chuck. Favs are #1 and the Bot in the front of #6. Made me get my stash of Bots out and throw a few in the barrel. I like those Jaspers in #3 also.

Really, really gorgeous.
I want to call #8 a Picasso and #10 a Van Gogh. (Sort of a "Starry Night in Red" vibe to the latter, and a couple surrealist cues to the former.)
Anyone else see that?
