Hope your not bored with tiger eye and jasper because there are a bunch more of those coming soon. Inuit agate (I think some of these are chert) Pretty sure these next two came in the mix with the Inuit agates from bcrockhoundThe rest of the mix Botswana side 1 Botswana side 2 Thanks for looking Chuck

I really like that orangish one from BC Rockhound. He should be picking up more of that.

I really like that orangish one from BC Rockhound. He should be picking up more of that. Thanks, Juggler. I hope to next summer. That is one my girlfriend found in Sachs Harbour. It is a dream to come in the real summer, and also travel on the land with people. It is basically 100% gravel up here and lots of people talk about the abundance of crystals and petrified wood, but no one seems to collect seriously/rockhound truly/know what to look for. Here is me saying hello from there. My first time, town of 75 people, like 80% women too. The sun doesn't come back until Jan 22 or so. There is a little bit of twilight in the afternoon though. Also, awesome rocks as always! It's an honour to have your time and work, Chuck!

Perhaps they'll start looking if they hear that there are folks around the world who do pay for beautiful and unusual rocks Some people and groups in Greenland have made some serious money with the special rocks and minerals from there (tugtupite, nuummite, kakortokite, etc.). If you have a UV lamp, you might want to look for stones that fluoresce, change color, are phosphorescent, or have other optical effects (very popular with some people). It must be nice to be able to look in areas where no one has done any serious rockhounding! On the other hand, I don't know that I could survive your dark winters - I already want to hibernate with the bears even though our shortest sunlight is about 9 hours.

Nice work, Chuck. I happen to like the blue tiger eye. I think that stuff looks neat. I'll have to start doing some serious work on roy's PJ. That stuff looks great.

I am really surprised nobody picked this as a favorite. I have probably tumbled 40 pounds of tiger eye and this is my favorite piece. The only one I have that has red, blue and gold all in one stone. Chuck

Chuck Now that I look at it more closely, it is pretty cool. It doesn’t have a lot of pattern that jumps out at you in a picture, so I think I scrolled past it too quickly the first time. Thank for pointing it out.

Chuck Like Rob, I think I blew right by it without noticing the detail. I'd have never picked it for being Tiger Eye - thanks for pointing it out. It IS a neat looking stone for sure.

Jugglerguy aDaveI think when I took the photo I was trying too hard to concentrate on the red area. I just took a couple more that show it off as tiger eye a little better. Chuck

Chuck Those photos show the layering/banding a bit better. I have to be honest though, with all of the colors, I still might have missed ID'ing properly. Thanks for sharing.
