Hey JKowalski33, That picture you put up is of Moraine Lake in Banff National Park (and a gorgeous spot it is!). Kananaskis Lakes are nice too, but further east in Kananaskis Country, outside of Banff Nat. Park.

Cher, What an artist you are! How do you do that outline thingy? That's too cool. That wasn't exactly how I pictured the guy, but your way works, too!

thanks cher, that helps, now i see where people are coming from.... and thanks rollingstone, i wasn't sure which lake it was, but knew it was in Banff national park, so i looked on a map and that was the only lake i could find in the national park, so i figured that it was that lake

Just for interest's sake, Moraine Lake was the photo on the back of the Canadian $20 bill for about 30 years (not anymore). The $20 photo looks like it was taken a bit to the lower left of from where you were. Here's a link: www.gshtx.org/attachments/articles/18/moraine_lake.jpg

It reminds me of Monument Valley on the Navajo Reservation in northern Arizona/southern Utah - one of the most spectacularly beautiful places I have ever been blessed enough to see.
BUT, I still can't come up with a good name, so for now I am checking in with
Desert Dreamscape
but might change my mind later!

That is gorgeous Sandsman ! Ok my first attempt at naming. Not very good but still 'Shades of envy' Green = jealousy = envy, shades etc Also I will be very envious of whoever wins it ! BTW: I love the canadian lakes, we travelled through the Rockies a couple of years ago and saw Banff, Jasper etc - Lake Louise and Lake Pyto are amazing.

Thanks BE, I use a program called Paint Shop Pro (PSP) Been messing with graphics for years, always had an artsy side so am hoping I can apply it to doing something with the stones. It sure hasn't helped me with the beads yet though ... lol.
You're welcome JK, sometimes you just need a few lines to put things in perspective.

Boy ... have I missed out on a spectacular game ... sands ... you have got a great idea hear!
Well, since Cher has posted the photo with the outlines of the young man gasping at the sight of a nekkid lady!
I will call this: Nostradomus's President Clinton Prediction
Yup, Nostradomus (I don't know if that is right or not ... but I think I am close!) fortold of the President Clinton and Monica Lewinsky "it never happened" act long before it actually happened. It was so long ago that he painted the scene in rock and placed in it the following events that caused sands to cut and cab it and offer it to us folks ... if we guessed it correctly!
So ... what do you think about that one.

I never saw the young man of the woman. I also cannot find shapes when I look at the stars either.
Thanks Rose for pointing it out.

WoW Sands, there's 18 entries. You might have to do two polls first then take the top 4 from each of those for another. LOL Look what you started. Lots of fun! Thank you!!

"Venusian Lava Flow"
Kinda looks like a lava flow, but also looks a little other worldly.
