Ya'll are probably going to wish I would have never started this beading stuff! I can't figure out if the stone is pet wood or driveway rock. The beads are gold plated, although they look silver in the pic. The black teardrop beads are Austrian Jet (whatever that is) and the other beads are various shades of yellow/gold/orange/black Swarovski crystal and other assorted glass beads and seed beads. I also made the hangy thing for the stone.

Hey Llana, it is colorful! I do like the color scheme though and think it works very well. Can we see it on you? Ron

Ron, I thought about putting it on, putting the camera on the tripod and taking the picture because it definitely looks better on. But I have on a red sweatshirt, it would clash big time and I was just too lazy to change shirts! Next time I am going to work with a different color! llana

I just love that Llana. You got a new itch to scratch now! I would like to see all the necklaces on this forum ON someone, so we can see how it lays, length, ect. I'll start doing it if ya'll will. I tried to get my husband to model the last one I made, but he was having a bad hair day. cookie

[bowing] Your wish is my command! [bowing again] I do hope ya'll appreciate the fact that I changed from my red sweatshirt to the black sweater just to do this! Close-ups of the bails or dofongys, as I prefer to call them! ;D One of these days I am going to learn how to take better pics! llana

Thanks Bear.
Ya'll ire REALLY in trouble now! I just got a boxload of beads I ordered from Fire Mountain. I'm gonna be a beadin' fool! Gotta get busy with them and make some Christmas presents!
KD, Cookie, Kim, Cher - I took some closeups the bails I made AND took pics of the necklaces being worn as ya'll requested. They are on this thread.

cookie, it's Beadalon Colour Craft wire. I'm not sure what gauge because the labels came off the spools - but I think the silver wire in the first one is 18 gauge half hard and the gold in the second is 20 gauge half hard. I tried to do another one with some other gold wire that was softer and didn't have much success with it. So, you may have to use a harder wire.

Hey Llana, your necklace looks much more stunning in those new photos! I'm really impressed that you're doing so well with the wire wrapping. The way I wire wrap, it would look better stuck together with bubble gum. You're doing great!
