Kim, yes I did make my own clasp for it. I bought some of the "clamps" for the leather cord and I could not get that sucker to hold on to the leather for nothing. I had to squish it so hard it looked like crap. This is just a simple coil kind of screwed on to the leather, then using the pliers I worked around it to tighten it down with a final tight pinch on the end of the coil. Very easy to do and for me anyway, it sure works better than the ones I bought. Not to mention, you still had to make a clasp, the leather clamps just had a circle on the end to attach a clasp to.

Cookie, that's just one stone, the first pics are front and back, the one on this page is the same stone, re-wrapped and put on the leather cord.
