OMG That Imperial Jasper is out of this world, can I ask where you got it from? I can't believe the depth of the shine you get, totally awesome. Looks like you took the pics outside, is that trees I see in the reflections? Absolutely stunning!! Thanks for posting them.

Somebody pass me a towel! I am slobbering all over myself looking at these! Oh my gosh, they are beautiful!
I have a chunk of purple Imperial jasper and also a chunk of green. After seeing these pics, I gotta get that stuff cut and in the tumbler!

Awesome shine, James. From the reflections in the rocks, looks like you are having some decent weather. Are you getting the dreaded tule fog?
I drove up I-5 to Redding before Thanksgiving and ran into the tule fog from Benicia all the up to Redding. Can you imagine driving 50 MPH on I-5. In normal weather, you get run off the road at anything less than 75 MPH.

I was thinking about you James; haven't heard from you in a while. Again and as always a superb job on those stones. I am beginning to believe that you may very well be the one person on the face of the earth, if need be, COULD polish a turd! Your work is just flawless. Thanks for sharing!!

SHINE ON BRIGHTLY James. Truely amazing, as usual. That imperial jasper is some really cool stuff. If Mother Nature could talk, I'm sure she'd thank you for bringing out her beauty. What's next?

Wow! Thanks for all the replies. I don't know where to start. Cher, The Imperial jasper came from www.thegemshop.com The stone canyon is from www.roughandtumble.com It is a local California jasper but I can't find any! Cal, The weather here has been crap for the last couple of weeks. I guess it would be outstanding compared to weather down south though. The fog is pretty bad here in modesto as well. Infact, the weather postponed my photoshoot by a few weeks. Today was a good day to shoot. I find that the best time to shoot is when it's overcast outside. "I am beginning to believe that you may very well be the one person on the face of the earth, if need be, COULD polish a turd!" Banjo, I exploded into laughter after reading this one. Great analogy! Nasty, but brilliant! ;D As for what's next, you'll just have to wait and see. At this point I don't know. I have some jumbo size tiger-eye going. I have a load crazy-lace. Willow creek jasper. Some of that Orland jasper, hint hint. A ton of agua nueva. And the usual odds and ends. It will be at least 1- to 1-1/2 months 'til I have something else done though.

Laughing my head off at this! Of course, Banjo, your work is no slouch either. You and James have given me much inspiration and helped develop my patience so my stones will come out as beautiful as the ones ya'll do. Not there yet, but always striving!

I have to admit, I have no idea as to what anything in there is (stupid newbies ) but they are spectacularly awesome. I could let you know what a polished turd looks like, I'll probably do a few of them due to my ignorance of the types of rocks I like the purdy green ones!!
