KD, I like unakite! I felt kinda bad when it was called vomit stone, cuz I'm sure there are a lotta folks that appreciate it.
Cookie, Congrats on your new toys! Enjoy! I got my new QT66 today, but I don't have anything ready to start in it yet.

BE, shoot, go get some from Llana! You girls must have buckets of stuff ready to go. Congrats on the new toys. I haven't graduated to that yet, but give me time and bonus checks.... cookie

Cookie, I have small amounts of lots of stuff that's ready to tumble, just not enuf of any one thing to fill a 6 lb barrel.
Maybe this would be a good time to ask what I could safely run together. I have rose quartz, picture rock, jaspar that I ordered from eBay, some tiger eye, bloodstone, and some flint. I really was hoping to run a full load of tiger eye in my newest tumbler, but I haven't had a chance to get it all cut yet. Can I run these types of rocks together?

BE, I think the jasper, bloodtsone, tiger eye, and flint would be OK together. I think they are about the same hardness. I did flint, agate and jasper in my last batch and it turned out great! Anyone, correct me if I'm wrong cookie

Great link, KD. I also printed it. It answered all of my questions except for one. Tiger eye is not on the list and is also not in my Rocks and Minerals book. Can someone please tell me the MOH for tiger eye?
Thanks, BE
