I just realized that I forgot to post the actual video of water glass being used. I don't know why it wasn't included in my prior post. Water Glass looks very promising, and might have a long shelf life.

I hate using vises, so I hold the stone in both hands, as I gently push it through my 4" tile saw to make small slabettes. Works.

As usual, I'm late to the party. Lortone makes a vise in 3 sizes for their trim saws. I put one on my old Frantom 10" and cut quite a few slabs with it, perfectly parallel. Here's a photo. These vises are inexpensive (I think the one I got was around $40 plus shipping) and I'm pretty sure you could mount one to the bed of that tile saw. It just takes 2 screws through the bed. Line up to the blade (I put a stubby pencil in the vise to run back and forth) to mark where you want to drill/tap. The mounting holes on the rail brackets are slotted, so you can do fine adjustment once it is mounted. Oh yeah, I got mine from Cigar Box Rocks, I think they are on this forum but I don't recall the user name. Argh
