Looks like a dead ringer to me based on the pictures. Well there's another expression I wouldn't have used on here. I thought "dead ringer" was an Aussie thing.

stardiamond just my two cents but I would vote against the general consensus and say no way that's Keegan Ranch *if* the link you posted accurately shows Keegan Ranch. The cabochon in the first post has singular tubes (sticks/straws) beige-ish in color, occasionally joined to form a super stick of two to four tubes with a common wall. The Google link sample is almost entirely tubes inside of tubes which form eyes, white in color and in my eye looks nothing like the structure of the cabochon. The tube structures in these two photos look nothing alike to me. Anyway, ya'll can yell at me now - I'm going to bed lol.

I'm only looking for an ID and I looked at pictures to make a determination. Searches with picture results are not very reliable. Search for dog and the results may contain a picture of a cat. The link I posted referred to worthpoint and gave a name. I believe that tube structure is related to the orientation of the cut. Here are 5 cabs and a small slab of the same material. The pictures on the box are more representative than on a cab stand.

Always helpful to see the rest of the slab. Great!

No worries stardiamond at the end of the day it's beautiful agate and you can call it whatever you like. I was going off of the reference link you posted and those slabs are loaded with tube agate multi-wall "eyes" and to me they don't resemble the thin wall sticks in your cab. In all of the new pictures you posted I don't see a single multi-wall "eye" and my stated opinion has strengthened. But as a friend said, you it's a small sample size and you never know what the rest of the rock looked like.

14 years ago, I bought a lot of slabs from an ebay seller roughnntumble. He lived in Oakland Oregon. He sold Tahoma from Washington, Stinking Water from Oregon, Morrisonite and this material that he referred to as Golden Tube agate.
I've tried doing searches for material that looks like this for a long time and what I found is the closest I've come. The Pacific Northwest has a great variety of lapidary material and a lot of it unnamed. When I was doing a lot of ebay searches for lapidary material, I would search on picture jasper because the seller might not be able to id and also attractive unnamed picture jasper.
I'm just getting started on etsy and looking to list cabs that grab the eye. I going to ask a good price for it and would have liked a positive it (which I don't have). I'll list it as what it was called by the seller and mention that he was located in Oregon.

Based on the second set of photos, I'd say it is tube from the Prineville area. If not Keegan, Ochoco/Quant or Coyle Butte, then the same general area. The white is better known, but all those can have some yellowish tint. Like that the slab was cut to show off the eyes of the tubes, rather than the side/lace pattern. Great job with the cab, too!

I would go with Ochoco just based on what I've seen in the past.

The white tube I have seen in person is Ochoco and it does look like that.

I cut this cab from a piece that I bought as unknown. Someone will probably be able to identify it and I bought it because of the bright colors.
