Thank you for saving me some money for allowing me to divert template money to slab money! Al I had these when I was first starting out and had no extra funds for templates. It was a great resource. Then, another member who is gone now, was making those templates out of acrylic in his shop. Not free, but not too much. So, I had my templates turned into acrylic templates. I still use those probably more than any others. Enjoy.

My brain doesn't always work as well as it used to do, so for those that get similarly blocked on the names of some of the shapes, here are a couple of cheat sheets. Doesn't include regular polygons like octagons and hexagons, but some of the common ones (I added some from the templates above, too, once I figured out how to trace them into the computer)...

Cartouche- I always wondered what that was called.

Just seeing this now, Tela. Thank you so much for putting this collection of shapes together! This is just the kind of thing that I am looking for. Now I need to find some thinner plastics to cut these from. I like the cutting board idea, but I am not sure how I would cut through something that thick, without a CNC Lathe.
R2D, also thank you of posting the names of the shapes. Now I won't feel so bad about trying to describe something as "that half-circle thing with a vertical slice going through the middle"...

A late thank you, rockjunquie ! I downloaded them and pasted 7 of the 9 into a Word file. I duplicated some of the templates in that file so that I could change the height or width of some for a total of 10 templates.

Thanks rockjunquie & @rocks2dust I have converted those shapes to my Graphtec Vinyl Cutter type files and have printed. I have over 400 slabs/pieces that will be cabs or other jewelry or accessories.

I'm saving this, I got the email version from Tony years ago and cut some of them out on a laser cutter, then lost access to the laser.
