Wow, those are awesome! If I had any of those I think I'd stick them on a shelf and display them as is. ;D Thanks a lot stoner, just when I think I've made my last purchase of rocks for a while, got those absolute must have rocks, I see I forgot about moss agate. Darn, that bloodstone is looking really good too.

Stoner, do you cut all of it first and then break up the slabs, or do you just go at it with a hammer? Just curious.

Hey all. Cookie, don't cry, get your husband's credit card and order some. ;D I was quite happy when I opened the box and started pulling these out of the bags. They even sent me extra on the blue lace and the bloodstone. The moss agates were around $2.30/lb, the bloodstone was $3.50/lb, and the blue lace was $7.50/lb and I recieved it in 4 days. They have my business from now on. Toad, I broke a few chunks off the mex lace and the pink and green moss today with an air chisel and threw them in with what I already had going in 60/90, but the rest I'll cut into chunks or slabs. Kim, I sat and stared at them last nite-cuz it was too late to cut. But enough staring, gonna break in my new 10" blade then start sawing away. I've got a 100g diamond wheel coming on Monday so it looks like I'll be having some fun for a while Here is the URL for Stone Age Indrustries is anyone wants it. stoneageindustries.com/rough_stones.htmlEd

how much did you pay for shipping for all that? I am thinking of buying from them, but wanted to know before about how much that cost to ship

Hey ski. The rock came to $34.90 and shipping was $10.61-They are located in Wyoming and I'm in Calif- and there was a $2.00 handling fee. Very reasonable. Have you checked out their rough?

Hey Ed, I have to say that the Bloodstone and the Crazy Lace Agate are my favorites. That Bloodstone will finish exceptionally well! Great haul ... and thanks for the link John

Hey ski. This is the most impressive rock I've gotten yet. The Mex Lace came from Llana, that stuff she posted a couple of weeks ago. Also excellent stone.
