Cool rocks. Love that blue swirl, it's gorgeous. What's up Kim, you didn't really say why you were posting them? Unless I missed something and you're going to tell me these are laying in your yard, then I'm going to cry and call you a by KD's famous "Lucky Pregnant Dog". Cher PS ... cool how you did the thumbnails too, nice job. Is that a photobucket feature or what?

cher these are the pics gerdus at the mineral gallery sent me yesterday. they will soon be on their way but it will take a long time for them to actually get here. you have to blame william and cal for this . i've been saving for them since william got some - took me a yr but i'm ready now! and yes that nifty little button at the bottom of the photobucket screen that says "generate HTML and IMG code" will do amazing things. has it always been there? kim

those are great thumbnail shots, Kim! love the blue swirl! can't wait for it to arrive, cuz we are gonna keep you busy shipping boxes of it.

Wowser Kim, How do you do it? Second job, third morgage, sugar daddy... Great job with the thumbnails, even with your excplanation I fon't get it, but thank goodness you do. So when you get that price list ready, let me know KD, I believe I remember someone wanted to refer to me as a bee-autch and the site translated it to "pregnant dog". Like "spoon" used to be "sthingy". I miss sthingy... cookie

yes i will be selling some in rough, some in slabs. i will have good stock of some and limited amounts of others. i need to sit down and convert my figures over to pounds and there is plenty of time for that as i think it takes 3 mos to get here by boat. and this being my 1st time to do this i may fall in the floor laughing when i see them and only offer boulders so i don't have to break them up ;D. how big are they cal and william? how much busting is involved here? the amethyst and the pink breccia are small quantities. i hope i don't have to seek counseling to part with them because i really did get them with intent to part with them . cookie - i know you know job materials when you see them lol - this was a special order for fred flintstone's floors kim

Hey Kim. Job Materials? I like that one. Those are some nice looking rough. I'll definetly be placing an order. Have you set up and used your saw yet? Haven't heard much about it, or maybe I just missed it. You shouldn't have any problems cutting any of the rocks from Gerdus. Cal had some that were too big for his 10" saw, so he brought them to me and I cut them on my 18" saw. You might want to contact Cal so he can help you avoid some of the pitalls he experienced.

stoner yes i've been using the saw and it is just awesome! i have slabs all over my kitchen counter. some are too thick, some too thin, and most are just right. i would get more done if i felt comfortable clamping the rocks but i really like my husband to do that part and that means i have to catch him at the office to do it. he likes the saw maybe even more than me. sometimes when he's coming in late it's because he's down at the office slabbing without me lol.
jimmy that big saw is hungry and it takes alot to feed it ;D.

the funny thing to me is...my first thought was "Hey look! Gerdus got a new phone!"
Anybody else have this reaction? I've been going to his site for so long...
