Robin and I got our box on Saturday.
Looks good, and the two bonus pieces have some incredibly deep color. We'd never seen that rough in person before.
Thank you! Thank you Vince. I will be posting some tumble size boxes of that Amethyst soon. There is some in the tumblers and hope to post some pics. I also have several more large chunks of that material. I hope it slabs good for you. Jeff A

Hey, do you have large material too?? I still have a milk crate of rough and the largest piece is only about 6”x4.75”x 3”. All are the larger 3.5”-4”+ sizes. Big enough for knapping points. What size were you looking for? I took a photo of what I have left with another tablet...the battery died and album has not updated to this one yet. Jeff A I cut and cab this material.... Looking for 6" to 12" by 4" to 9" material... Not exact...

Hi everyone, After checking online, it seems the cost of shipping a USPS small flat rate box to anywhere in Canada is $21.95. I’ve PMed minniek with this news but I’m also wondering if anyone has any ideas or suggestions for less expensive shipping. I have zero experience with international shipping. I just see a fellow RTH member who would like to try some new material for a reasonable price and I would like to see that happen. Thanks in advance. If shipping costs increase to that price here to anywhere in the US, it would make buying, selling or trading rocks by mail a lot less attractive. For now, the flat rate boxes make it feasible...especially in the larger sizes. Jeff A Some Canadians have United State drop boxes (USPS), it saves them money in the long run.... Have had some have me ship material that way... Sometimes they have a buddy that has a drop box and then they can get their material shipped to them...

How much for a small box of larger pieces? Or for a medium box of larger pieces? I've got a friend who knaps who may be interested.

The pieces I have left won’t fit in small flat rate. I am down to a half of a milk crate as I sold another medium box with 3 1/2” + sizes to toivo (Billy). What I have are 3”-3.5”+ sizes and I can fill a medium box with 15 lbs+ for $55 including shipping. Still less than $3 per pound after shipping. Free pickup in Florida panhandle. I will deduct $15.
Thanks for your interest,
Jeff A

Thank you! Got mine today. USPS decided to take the long way around, and they delayed it a few days. I got goodies too, and some just went into the tumbler. The flint looks great. I may have to put some to the saw to size down, but that's on me. El JeffA was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Thanks Jeff!

You are helping me clear out space for incoming rocks. And what better place to share than right here on RTH. I hope you enjoy tumbling it as much as I did. Sorry if Material was too big and prepping was necessary. I throw that size in the 12 lb Lortones to yield larger tumbles. Those I keep for me. I am taking that into consideration on the next offer of tumbling boxes. Regards, Jeff A

You list what is for sale with pics that is all that is needed I am now interested since you tumble some larger ones to try the same on a few. I always do some pre-work with a saw anyways so no big deal. I can't wait to tumble it all - it looks like fantastic material. Grant
