RS-
Oh yeah, I'm still reading this and looking at the photos. I'm a little more on the optimistic side now as most of my chunks "show" signs of greatness. I'm pretty sure I'll just see these babies thru til the end. Mine are very black for the most part. But others have some cool streaks of red, orange and brown.
I'm just excited and hope my "bland" pieces show signs of "greatness" soon. The edges are softening up nicely and getting pretty smooth. I'm planning for a full month in course and then go from there.
thanks for the picts.....they really look like what went into my vibe.
Keep tumbling and we'll look forward to what's coming next.

WOW ...............
Rollingstone ... If there were ever a tumbling dictionary .. when you look up perfect ... there would be a photo of your petrified wood!
Makes my mouth water ...
The round holes that go all the way through the stone were caused from worms. I have some of that material and it makes for some very interesting pieces!
Excellent job and thanks for sharing!

Worm holes! That's really neat. Thanks for the identification, John.
And thanks everyone for all the compliments. I think I'm now going to have to start putting vaseline on my temples so that I can squeeze my inflated head through doorways! ;D
