Hi everyone,
I have a new game for you to play ... it's pretty simple really ... all you have to do is get into my head and figure out what I named this piece!
I figured it would be too tough to pick a winner ... so I changed the game a little ;D
The object of the game is to figure out what I have named this tumbled piece of Agate ... I am not sure of its origin ... but it is a beautiful clear, drab greenish-tan, white and violet color, with fading bands into itself (meaning that you can look into the stone). Not only that ... this piece has the ability to show some "Iris". Iris Agate has the ability to diffract normal light into the colors of the color spectrum ... kind of like a prism.
So what did I name this piece?
Here it is ... don't you just love the color combination?
Here is a close up of the stone.
There is a kicker ... I am going to tell Mark what I have named it. Then, when ever we (Mark and myself), wish to do so ... we will throw out clues to what the name is, without actually telling you what it is.
Beings that I am a working soul, as most of us are ... I wish to compensate Mark with one of my custom designer cabs for his part in helping me with the various little clues it will take ... to get someone that comes up with the correct answer.
There is no deadline ... this game will run until someone guesses the correct name ;D
Well ... what are you thinking? Put on them tin foil hats and get the new batteries out ... and lets play the game ;D
Your first clue: It's one of the oldest _____ and it is still being made and sold today.
Enjoy,
John
