What happened, did someone actually guess what it was? That one made me a little nuts. I tried to be a mind reader. I tried to figuire out Bearcreek's devious mind. I never saw a candy that looked like that stone. did some one win, or did we just give up?

Momma won it was Tumbled combination of Necco Wafers. I remember Necco Wafers and have seen them at Hobby Lobby, but wasn't even thinking in that direction. Of course I missed all the posts because I was at ceramics. Tami

Gee I leave to go to class for a few hours and come back to see 10 more pages filled out - Are necco wafers an american thing? Never heard of them - can someone post a picture? Can I make a final guess?

Tweetie- Here is the URL- www.necco.com/candies.htmYou can probably find a better picture somewhere else. I don't how the actual candies relate to the said stone up for grabs. It was pretty fun nonetheless and sorry you missed out. I think everyone had a blast w/ this game and would be watching for more fun in the near future. Oh, sorry for my ignorance, but where are you from? If your not from the States, don't worry, I'm not too familiar with them either. Cheers, Gaeter

I dont want to sound pessimistic, but shouldn't the people who got the first words tumbled, and necco wafers, get anything? I mean, they guessed just as much of the answer as momma did, it just so happened that she guessed the final word. I don't know, its not my contest so do whatever....

You didn't honestly expect someone to guess that, did you? Nice piece though.

www.oldtimecandy.com/necco-wafers.htmHeres a pic - looks like theres a pack of just the chocolate ones available. "Tumbled Combination of Necco Wafers with a Slight Deviant towards the Chocolate Type Due to Personal Preference." That needs a tin hat of proportions similar to Jodrell Bank antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap960308.htmlI reckon anyone going for a guess on this one needs to get down there right away for sharper readings into Johns mind. ;D

Rose - its a "Waffer Thin Mint" (Monty Pythons Mr Creosote) "Bring me a bucket. I'm going to throw up....." (One of the funniest skits of all time, though I realize that BearCreek didn't have that in mind when he came up with the name for his cab.) "Monsieur, just one thin wafer?"

Hi everyone,
JKowalski33 - You did get something ... you got to help a bunch of people ... and ultimately ... you helped one individual come up with the correct answer. You planted a seed ... and it grew ...
Sometimes the best reward in life ... is knowing that through your efforts ... you have made someone's life a little happier.

No, I think that was Monty Hall.
Monty Python was very strange, I had to be in the right mood to enjoy them. The shows could be totally hilarious if you were drunk. Just google "Monty Python" and you'll understand.

Yeah if you enjoy totally silly and rediculous humour, you'll love it. The film of the Holy Grail is one of the funniest films ever IMO. www.mwscomp.com/python.htmlwww.mwscomp.com/sound.htmlThe lumber Jack song is hilarious, especially if you can watch the skit where they perform it !

The only thing I remember about those candies is, that I thought they tasted awful but, they made great little targets for my .22. Like miniature clay pigeons
