Every winter we get swans that migrate down to Gull Lake. This section of water stays open due to some springs underneath.

Avery says Happy Friday everyone. Photo was taken yesterday. Between 5:30 AM and 8:00 PM he napped for 40 minutes! Was still full of energy until he finally fell asleep at 8:00 PM, which is two hours after normal sleep time. I thought the shirt was fitting. My wild grandchild. Will be celebrating 8 months of being a blessing to so many tomorrow. Won't be too long before Avery asks you for the car keys. He's really sprouting up there.

I only hit the beaches at low low tide and watch my back continually…. Most of it is right next to the cliffs, quite away from the water.... Those people that were swept out to sea where there during a huge storm and shouldn't have been in that area at all... It was that way all up and down the coastline, idiots doing stupid stuff, now a child or two pays for it! SAD!

I came across this tonight when looking for something else. It is a cab I cut from a brick of millefiori glass purchased at Q last year. This is the end cut which explains the twisted, “shooting star” look. While almost all of the brick (app 1.5” x 4” x 8”) looks the same, the ends look quite different. Those are my favorite! All that snow you folks keep posting is making me feel cold. The Daffodils in Oregon say, "Screw Winter".
I have some growing here in a pot. They are just starting to bloom.
We are expecting 89 degrees here today (outside in the sun). Currently, it is only 75 on my patio. I'll bet a lot of you would take that, lol.
