Cool pictures ashley and RickB! It got so cloudy here last night that we couldn't see the eclipse at all.

Well, I'm a little bummed... I checked the weather, which called for rain. I checked outside around 9, I guess, and all I saw were clouds. I went to bed thinking I wouldn't be able to see the red moon. My brother called this morning. He lives down the street. He heard a noise outside around midnight and went out to see what it was. He looked up and saw a clear sky AND the eclipse!!! UGH! He did get some video for me, though. I can't believe that I missed it.

Lots of photos from early this AM. Harvested some asparagus. Have many about the size of the smaller ones. They should be ready in a day or two. Was finally able to get an OK photo of the bunny burrow next to my house. I have a great view of their going in and out from my front porch windows. My yard is loaded with white violets. I love them. The lilacs are almost in bloom. There are lots of Spring things in my yard right now.

Thanks hummingbirdstones! It was a bit of work. The main pond is 3000 gallons dug by hand. You have to move a lot more than 3000 gallons of dirt to account for the concrete. A shovel, a wheelbarrow, a trailer and a bit younger body than I currently possess. I had it all concreted, also by hand and somehow my sprinklers got turned on. I had cut a pipe that was in the way and the water floated the pond up about a foot. I had to bust a bunch of concrete out and redo it. It was horrible, but it's been a great source of relaxation sent. It takes surprisingly little maintenance. I didn't realize the bottom drain cover dome was in the last pic. I did some maintenance this weekend and haven't put it back in place yet.
