Patty, that is one of the coolest pictures I've seen in a LONG time!!! That deserves to be printed out poster size and hung as a "painting" type picture!!

Thanks jasoninsd. What's extra cool in the photo (which is actually of a spring on the Wacissa River, here in N Fl), is if you look carefully you can see the water plants down in the spring, against the reflection of the sky. It's very multi dimensional. One of those, I got lucky photos :-) Patty

We have a momma hummer nesting in the apricot tree by our back patio. I was hoping to get a picture of her on her nest, but she wasn't in there when I finally remembered and had a chance to today to go try to get a shot. She was flying around nearby, so I just took a picture of her empty nest. She definitely is a stylish little lady with the way she built her nest.

We only have rubythroats in the east apparently in large quantities. You guys have many varieties pass thru. They battle at the feeders constantly making squeaky bickering sounds. They are super nimble at collecting spider webs on the windows for nesting materials.

Those are the kids Patty. They are having a mass play battle as I try to wake up this not so peaceful morning. Mom will feed them hopefully sooner than later and they will go back to napping. They manage to wake up the household every morning jasoninsd. Mom and Pop spray bottles tends to cool down the morning brawl. There is payback if you harass your dogs Jason. It WILL come back and haunt you.

That's a tease. We know what that means!! Nothing too exciting. Some grit and slightly tumbled rock/crystal mini chips. The grit means I can get the tumblers rolling again.
