He’s sleeping in Husband’s lap. It’s his favorite place to snuggle during the day when I’m busy (Mom > Dad, but Dad is still pretty great).

AJ and I took my daughter to the park to celebrate her Birthday. A beautiful day. Over 60 degrees and no wind. AJ loved his first time in a park swing. He became a little annoyed when we stopped pushing him. After park time, we walked to 3 local stores and did some shopping.

Here are some of our shopping results from yesterday. The rock recharge kit was a huge breakthrough. My daughter found it while we were in the craft section of a local consignment shop. She has been less than supportive of my lapidary work. Items with this color label were 50% off. She handed it to me and said here is something you can use. I had no choice but to agree. Everything is there. The grit packs will work for my 1 lb barrel. There appears to be some nice smalls in the rock packages. Spending so little for a moment like this is worth it. Daughter found the Dr.'s at the local liquor store that specializes in items from small, craft breweries. She asked me to buy her one of those sets. They were on clearance. I got a few more to include in not for profit auction baskets.

So far he's super smart. Already scratches to go out and knows how to sit- and we just got him on Saturday.

How special. I love his markings. The first names that came to mind for me were Spirit or Ghost. The second photo pierced my soul.

Omega. Remember the 70's Omega Man with Charlton Heston and the young black guy with glowing blue eyes?

That's his temporary name. I'm trying to convince the family to use an Eskimo/Inuit word for a name but I'm having little success. These are the ones I like... Atka- Guardian Spirit Una- This One Kallik- Lighting Amak- Playful
