Reminds me of the days I used to sell, install, and service pellet stoves. I was a dealer for Travis Industries... Lopi, Avalon and Fireplace Extraordinaire. Yeah, that's an Avalon Newport. That blower is the 3rd that I've replaced in the last 15 years. I'd rather have a regular wood burning stove so I can burn anything instead of having to pay $8 for a bag of pellets. Wow bud, no idea! I don’t typically do appliance work but nice to see you tackling it. Hi knave , It's nice to hear you're still out there The blower job only takes a few minutes, but it sure is frustrating try to wiggle the motor mount back through some of the wiring. Keep On Rockin'

Gads! Does any creature actually like -63 degrees? How can you even breathe?

Gads! Does any creature actually like -63 degrees? How can you even breathe? You just die. It's a place called Peter's Sink that's a bowl at 8k feet where the cold air pools and can't drain out. In 1985 it was measured at -69 Fahrenheit.

Made this blade at the campground a couple days ago for a guy who bought a knife from me the last time I was here at Edisto Beach SC. He had to have it as he's crazy over mahogany obsidian. I let him pick out the handle to match it up with from the 14 rough finished ones I have along with me. The finished product.

You may laugh, but we've actually seen the sun 3 days in a row, a rarity around these parts. Starting to make its way center again.
And a big golden moon this morning, running late or I would've snapped a shot
