I was going to go find some Fairburns tomorrow but my lawnmower apparently had different plans. A lot of blood but not too deep. Nothing broken but swollen now and mighty sore! 😬

It must have been a rock or something that flew out, I'm not sure. If it was a rock I can't even be mad- because I like rocks!

I don't know Mike, it looks worse than just a single rock - I think you need to avoid rocks that are traveling faster than you are. It's a safety issue ! Patty

Dang Mike, looks like a Fairburn agate bite to me. Don't mow too close to the rock garden and get well soon.

Geez, miket , that looks horrible. Glad you're ok. Thanks Robin. Kund of re-thinking my decision not to get it checked this morning, not much range of motion. Of course living in a small town means I either go to the ER or wait until the clinic opens tomorrow, and with the high cost of health care I'll probably choose the latter.

MIKE! sorry man. That rock must have been whizzing to cut through your sock and still do that. Are you sure it wasn't a piece of the blade flying off? Not sure how that would happen though ... unless a rock was involved.

It looks like you did a number on that one! I'm no "nurse-nancy"...but it looks to me like a delivery of ice-cream from the kids would...at the very least...make you feel better on the "inside"!
