Oh believe me, I would rather be in La Paz, Bolivia. Where it's 68-72 degrees year round.

Winds of over 30 MPH predicted for Monday by me. Edited original post to include map for entire state. There are at least three RTH members who live in areas with 6" to 10" predicted. Storm Spotter communications indicated the exact storm track, moisture levels and winds are still unknown. Also unknown is when the rain will change to snow.

Just saw a FB posting by a good friend. She said they are now in the 10-12" area. She lives 30 miles to the NW of me. Just have to wait and see what happens.

Oh, so it's your fault... 😀 Yeah. Come over and we can cry about it over some beers We only got about 8" and most melted already, but now it's going to drop to almost 0 and freeze it
Deal.

knave picture #2 is the perfect place to look for minerals or crystals see those small piles of rocks along the shore. I look for those types of rocky gravel banks then I focus on what is in the water that nobody else thought of looking for. Chances are anything on the shore has been picked up by others but usually not in the water. State park no problem bring your fishing pole and fishing license and don’t tell or show others what you find there that will draw attention to you then you end up with a fine. Don’t bring buckets for collecting either small containers that fit in a back. Shhhh Boy I can’t wait to start exploring places like you found knave

knave does homeschooling really only apply during the week or can you continue to entertain your students with nature and maybe with subjects they will enjoy learning. If so you just opened the doors to a whole new level playing field of creative learning knave today’s homeschooling suggestion for class!! should be on glacial deposits also called glacial tills; The subject should be covering minerals and or metals that can also be found in such a deposit how they got there perhaps from even some minerals that get transported from another state to where they are or maybe found only sometimes in another country; how were these minerals transported; why are they called such and during this class it should also expand to include what is a kettle hole is and how was it formed, such actions of a kettle hole formation has also sometimes referred to as a washing machine in action. This class can be done at all age levels to make it fun and interesting for all Just saying class does not need to be just arithmetic but reading needs to be brought to a new and fun level for the little ones as you read this to them point out interesting facts to keep there attention if they are at all interested in rocks

In my defense my head is stuck in a box of rocks that as soon as I finish my coffee gonna warm up my saw and start cutting some stuff I got yesterday there’s a small nodule shaped like a geode that’s calling me. Got to go man it’s coming after me time to cut it open

The shell was well over a foot long! There was a big slider in there too, but I forgot to snap a pic. The tadpoles are large too, maybe 4-5 inches. They will make big bullfrogs!
