I really like it. this is one that might look better with a different color square wire.

I really like it. this is one that might look better with a different color square wire. Thanks Beth- right now I'm liking the silver wire better than the copper wire, but you might be right. What color were you thinking? I've kind of fallen away from liking the copper wire for the wrap- I like using it for binding, but not for the wrap. Personal taste, I suppose.

Call me crazy, but I would use dark bronze. To bring out the dark highlights. Accent with copper or gold.

Now, that's some art there! Your cab with its unusual shape doesn't look unusual in that piece, it looks like it was meant to be. Nice work!

Ooh-la-la! Magnifique!
I like it in the silver very much. If you wanted to add some contrast you could use liver of sulfer and antique the metal. Both silver and copper will take a patina with LOS.
Bravo on this one, miket!

Super nice, Mike!!! You didn't over do it at the top. It all has a nice flow and the wrap compliments the stone. I think you did well. I like it as is.

I think you overexposed the shot, but the rock is a beauty at any rate. The wire is very expressive of your style, and goes well with the stone. Thanks for sharing.

I wondered if it was a bit off-balanced at the top but I like it. I did move the top wire on the front over just a bit to line up more with the division of colors of white and red after I took the pic and it looks better.

I think I just got in a little close on the picture, probably could have done better. It really is a nice stone. I appreciate the compliment.
