Alllll-right Kim. Nice stones. Been working on them awhile? In the 4th pic, what's the stone in the middle? Looks like you used a cookie cutter(not you Cookie) and put some green frosting on top. And what is the orange stone in pic 5 & 6? They all look pretty Damn good to me. You jumped right up there to the "James level of excellence", or, JLOE. Edwieser Oh yea, what are the blue stones?

Not one fantastic batch...but two!!!
The turitella in your close-up pics looks perfect, vastly superior to some turitella I bought about a year ago. How'd the overall turitella batch go? (in my case, about 90% was garbage).
Great batch of stones, impressive mix, and very impressive shaping and shine.

Those are great Kim! I really like the the 2 on the bottom and the black and white striped one in the 5th picture. In the 2nd to last picture, there's a rock that looks like a chocolate covered eclaire

thanks all for the kind words. now i've got to choose what to start next. 2 empty slots are calling me to fill them up. rollingstone the turritella has been a bugger. this is the 1st to come through but many more are still in 60/90 and i've been working on these since last june. i think it's meant to be cabbed not tumbled. some seemed to be smoother before the polish and only parts polished and others came out really nice. reminds me of that leopardskin jasper. stoner it's some kind of petrified wood that my friend from idaho brought from a rockshop out there. i normally would have wanted to round them more but i was afraid i'd lose the outer wood edge and then they'd just be chocolate rocks. my favorite one wore all the way through and i stopped trying to shape it and sent it on through so i wouldn't lose the hole. thought it might make a cool fan pull or something. or the knocker on a wind chime as it might be a bit too heavy for the fan pull. here's a different shot of the 3 pieces i had of that. somebody was talking at one time about having a dark, almost black petrified wood. does anyone know what kind of wood this is? kim oh and the orange was a piece of agate with crystal on it and i let it go until they smoothed out - might have been the whitcomb agate. the blue is brazilian blue quartz.

They are great, what colors and variety, and the patterns on the agate are amazing. Love it!

Very Nice Stuff Kim, I thought you were way to busy to keep those things rolling. With all the irons you have in the fire, patience must come easily from step to step. Thanks for sharing, Kim. I love those agates with the banding. Just super!
