I agree that several auctions might be best.
Tommy tries to do this about every year, but I know he's been swamped at work. Leave it to our great members to do it for him!!  
When you post an auction for RTH, make sure you put that in the title.
Clarification needed. So anyone can start an auction to benefit RTH? Could a sticky thread be established for RTH auctions? I feel it would be beneficial if all the auctions were in one thread. Thanks. |

It should run in it's own thread with the title identifying it as an RTH auction. More than one auction in one thread would get way too confusing. |

When this auction bidding ends tomorrow, another auction (for 3+ lbs of slabs) will be posted to benefit RTH by myself.
That will help keep the confusion down and allow more bidders. Shipped free, payment to Tommy.

I think each auction should be it's own thread, too confusing about who is bidding on whose stuff if all in one thread, at least for me anyway. I will have a batch up either Thursday evening or Friday for next weekend. Don't know if I can outdo roy but I'll try to at least be in the same league. |

Thanks everyone for this  Sorry for my lack of input - part of it is I'm awed by the sentiment and also hella busy at work ... and this is supposed to be the slow season in Napa valley  I've mostly just skimmed the thread and my suggestions would be mostly along the lines of what has been discussed. Separate stickied threads in this forum - I don't think we do it enough to warrant a sub-board plus that tends to add a level of confusion for some who aren't used to clicking on a board just to arrive at a new sub-board. I will sticky this thread and if any new auctions pop up please title them accordingly (RTH benefit auction etc...) so we can spot them and sticky them. At the conclusion of this and every benefit auction I would like to say thank you to the winner of the auction with a free TeeShirt of their choice from the RTH Store. |
