I love this idea! You can really see the stones well and the shine (almost got blinded by a reflection from one of them)!

Notwithstanding the finished product, those particular Bots are great specimens. I've not seen as much red in mine - great coloration and banding.

Updated the original post. Added a the first Brazilian agate video. No idea why it went portrait instead of landscape. Held the phone the same on the bots video and it got posted landscape.

I've bought a few pounds of Botswana agates and tumbled them. Unfortunately most of them have large enough cracks and pits that I can't tumble them out or I'd be left with nothing. That looks like a pretty clean batch!
If I do any more I'll have to pay more attention to trimming and grinding them before they move out of rough.

Very nize stones and a more exciting presentation with needed viewing angles ! Thanks James. Setting them down into the kitty litter keeps them in optimal position too. Chuck

Yes the fractures can be pain to deal with but the end result is worth it. The ones in the video are high graded. I tossed some out that would never produce a good tumble. Chuck

Grains to position stone ! Many times tried to get a roundish tumble to behave at best angle on a flat hard surface. Even used Silly Putty which is a pain ha.
Side note - got that 3 inch diamond wheel for cabbing inside tight curve of a moon crescent. It does look electro plated though, not sintered. Well made solid metal 10mm x 3". Who does crescents ? Should be in the cab profile library for sure.
