Lol. You should try "they are weights to re-balance the earth because of a huge open pit mine on the other side" I'll use that one on the next "victim." Might be starting to get a reputation in the neighborhood.... old BS'er.

Wow! Are you shitting me? All of those are full of coprolites?? Double WOW!!! Bet that took a few years to collect... Very awesome, but I doubt I would want wedding photos in front of them, no disrespect intended. You are right, you need to keep what it is on the TP, I mean QT. A few years back I was involved in a transaction where a lot of coprolite was sold by the pound. I used milk crates to weigh it and learned I could fill a crate at an average of about 97 pounds. When I fill my pillars with coprolite I count the crates that go in and can calculate the weight. Care to guess how many pounds are in a full pillar?

You should contact the BIPM in Paris... tell them you have the official “sheit ton” in your back yard, maybe they would lease it. www.bipm.org/en/about-us/(Worldwide weights and measures HQ)

After careful consideration, I will guess 1761 lbs. (Almost 90% of a shit ton, lol)

End slice off a small one. I don't recall where this one came from, bought or found.

People taking evening walks often ask me what these pillars are and I'm hesitant to tell them what they really are so I just say I like them and store them for future projects.(truth) Lately I've taken to telling horrible bald faced lies to some of the folks I already have a sporting rapport with. ie. "they are beacons for extraterrestrial visitors" "they are seismic stabilizers to minimize damage in the next earthquake" "they are water purifying prototypes" Next story you should tell them is It’s a science experiment, I want to know if that old saying is really true. “You can pile sheet as high as you want but it’s still going to roll down hill.” So far it hasn’t moved down hill yet! I think I am going to win this bet it’s going to stay right where it is with out traveling downhill 1”. Yup I think I am going to win that $100.00 bet for sure and that ain’t no shit! You want to place a bet on it too?

Wasn't a test, just thought about it today actually.
You can use that against them if they go "oh... yeah... makes sense"

Good guess, but off a bit. I think we better have a contest and whoever guesses the closest after a week I'll mail them a MFRB of coprolite! I'll call it the "Covid Kicking Coprolite Guesstimate" thread. Everyone wait to post your guesses till I set up a thread for it in the contests section and then we can do it there. Before it starts I'll give the secret weight to somebody, maybe a trusted moderator? (this is code for "I need a volunteer") Stay tuned ...

Ladies and Gents, knave has graciously offered to be the "keeper of the shi**y little secret. I'll tell him the weight and we'll let the contest run it's course and then he can announce the winner who will then get crapped upon.
