Thanks!! I'm still a noob so I'm trying to spend time focusing on making better cabs rather than just shiny rocks. Don't have a rock club nearby so trying to figure it out on my own

Ya basically I was going through the grits too quickly before all the scratches were out. I got some shiny cabs but not really a great polish. Then I bought a loupe to look at the surface for scratches before moving to the next grit. I was having the most trouble before and after 1200 grit but with the loupe you can easily see the scratches before moving on.
