these are great pics! like alice i'm always the one taking the pics so i decided i'd just take one with the digital. well i guess you need arms long enough to do this properly lol. i had several shots of my eyes, forehead and a tuft of hair, then more shots of looking like i'm falling backwards with an up the nose look, so i gave up on that and went to the mirror. that's not much easier lol. kim

I've had pics posted in Visitors and Members section for some time, but here is a new set of photos. I received many comments about my Jeep so here are some photos of me and the Jeep at a gravel pit. The Jeep is a 1983 CJ7 that I bought new and drove every day until there was little left. I then removed the body and put a fiberglass body on. Everything is fiberglasss and stainless steel now. The engine is a 258 cid (or 4.2 l) that I rebuilt with a higher lift cam and converted it from a carb to electronic fuel injection with electronic crank fired ignition. I capped that off with a Borla header and exhaust system. It started life with a Borg Warner T5 five speed manual transmission, but now sports a special built 700R4 automatic tranny with many, many modifications (I was a transmission engineer in my previous life). This is a change that is not considered really doable, but obviously that is not true. Many parts had to be fabricated, and it wasn't cheap, but it does work and is doable. The tranny is controlled with a B&M Megashifter. I hope to be able to upgrade the gear sets to 4.10 ratios soon. The rear axle is a full floating setup with locking hubs that allow me to tow without worrying about damaging the transfer case. Of course you have to have tunes, so I stalled a Kenwood amfm CD player with a rear boombox behind the rear seat. Enough talk, here's some pics: Here I am from a rock's point of view. You can almost see the rocks trembling! Hey Tami, as long as were showing off our tattoos.... Sorry about the quality of the shots, I had to take them all myself. Ron

Ok, all someone had to say was tattoo, and that gives me the chance to show my new one off. As some of you know I got the outline a few weeks back, then last friday I went to get it colored in. Don't mind the skeeter bite above it, I scratched it and picked it till it looks like a big honkin something... Or the dirty work shirt.. Here is the out line, remember? Here it is colored...

Searthdog, it's so beautiful colored in. And MR< I love yours too. very classic! That does it, I'm getting the chinese symbol for Karma tatooed on my shoulder, damn the world. I'd show you my tatoo but I put it where it wouldn't be readily visable and I might get arrested cookie

I don't know how you guys do it. They look mighty painful.
Hubby had some tatoo's done YEARS before we met, and had tried to have them removed (Also before we met). Tatoo's aren't totally removed yet, but he's got nasty scars from surgery... he's got giant scars with tatoo outlining them... I'll see if I can dig up some pictures.

here's what tatoo removing looks like... not the best pictures, but you get the idea. what you see in the pictures are each of his arms... can't really see the scars on his chest. If I can find a clear enough picture of his chest, I'll post it. I think he needs about 3 - 5 more surgeries to have them completely removed.
