Alright, here it is, my first attempt at wire wrapping. I just made that cab at lotarock's house today on his Genie. The thing is awesome. I definately need one of those......LOL

Good start. Cookie is going to post a wrap I did for her. Pretty soon, you can wrap like that. I started just like you without books or a teacher.

OOOOHH! Well done! I'm so jealous of you guys that just jump in and do a beautiful wrp. My first one looked like a fish net. And I'm taking the pics tonight to post. It really is outstanding!

I wish I had some books or something on it but just had to wing it. I did read over one of the tutorials that someone left a link to and that helped

That certainly doesn't look like a first try to me. Looks like you've been doing it for years. Great job. I've done several and they don't look that good yet!. Trish

Very pretty. I think the color of the wrap really accents the colors throughout the stone! What kind of stone is that? It's just beautiful! Great job! There are really alot of talented people on this site!

Excellent- The only fault I saw (and Maybe it was intentional) is the side wires bowed out a bit- Cool cab also- was that your first try at cabbing? nice job

well it was my first attempt of doing a cab on a Genie (not mine, it was at lotarocks house) Sure wish I had one though He gave me a piece of stone and said "Here, have a go at it" So naturally I did and you couldn't get me off the thing. I love that machine!!!!!! Going to take me forever to save up for one though Might try to wrap another piece today. Have to wrap a piece of green moss agate that earthdog sent me

thanks KD........bad thing is though, I know how to do too many things and if not, I'll try to pick it up and learn (like tweety sent me patterns for bead stuff) and then I get myself wrapped up (no pun there) in too many things sometimes. Probably why I'm bipolar or maybe because I'm bipolar that I do all that, most artists seem to be bipolar from reading that I've done. Don't like it much but it's life I'm a perfectionist though so that gets in my way sometimes and I never am happy with something I do. Positive feedback does help though as most of my life I could never do anything good enough for others. So being here makes me feel good and that's a good thing and it gets me trying hard and being proud of what I end up making. Now if I could just turn out a piece like Banjo, now then maybe I would be happy......LOL The Genie, now that is a dream machine and a half. I would love to have one, absolutely love it. But one day I'll get me one, may take me awhile, like a year or so but one day I'll have one. I'm still young But really KD and all others, thanks for the positive feedback, you really can't imagine how it helps me mentally (Oh boy, better stop before everyone here thinks I'm a total basket case......hehe) Sorry for rambling
