I tried this because I saw it in a magazine or something. But anyway, the two stones came from the same slab and matched real well, so... what the hay? I'm not happy with it and I know what I need to do differently now, but for a first effort I think I have the idea of how to tie the two together. I welcome any creative suggestions and will not be offended...promise. (Doc??) I won't pout either.-Banjo It does look better on a chain and around a neck, but my hairy chest would be a dead giveaway until I can find a model to who will wear them for me.

I'd offer to model for you but we won't even get into MY hairy chest..ahem...
I like the effect overall...but have a couple of questions. First...did you try the bottom stone the other way round? My first instinct is to want to see that arrangement...I don't know why (we've already established I'm pretty strange). And B: how heavy is the two tier pendant? those rocks look substantial and my personal preference is nothing that drags down a chain too much. THat being said, it's GORGEOUS.

Very very nice Banjo. I've seen that before also but haven't found two stones that would work together yet. I really like it! That's some of that red agate with the strange white marks in it isn't it? Size reference would be good, about how long is it? I am so impressed, it really looks terrific.
Dang, I need to get back to wrapping. I've been looking at my rosequartz teardrop but ever since I heard that it fades and loses it's color, it kind of killed my excitement over making it. Post some more Banjo, I need some inspiration.
I honestly can't say that I have any suggestions at all, I really like it. The pics are just as perfect as the wrap, whatever is in the backgrounds blurs away to almost the same color as the stone ... did you plan that?

Hey Banjo that is amazing, we must have been looking at the same magazine, as I saw something similar today in my magazine. I have a suggestion: what if you took the bottom pendant - as it is wrapped - and turn it upside down and attach a small stone to the bottom, it could look a bit like a hot air balloon? Love the stone, it looks like a martian sand storm is coming - What kind of stone is that?

Banjo, I totally agree with Hermatite. Flip the bottom stone over so the 2 fatter ends are the joined ends, use less wraps in the middle to join the 2 stones together, and do a coil-type thingy at the bottom of the pendant like the one at the top of the pendant. Yeah, redo it. Of course, you already know you do the most beautiful work. No use complimenting you and swelling your head any more than it already is. hahaha. Somebody's gotta keep you in line. ;D Susan
