Hi all, I've been a bit down lately and made myself get in there and create. Glad I did, made me feel better. This is what I came up with. Bloodstone, azurite, adventurine and silver beads with seed beads, geode pendent: Gonna make some earrings to go with it. Thanks for looking, cookie

that's a real winner, Cookie, love the pendant. the beads are cool, too. that IS mempry wire, yes? do you use crimps with that? i've tried and tried to get the hang of crimping but i just can't seem to get real positive attachments.
sad to hear you've been feeling low but glad to know a little creative juice helps.

Thanks all. I try to sell them, have sold a couple dozen and given away a hundred or more. Making and selingl jewlery is what I really want to do, that's probably why I'm kinda down, just don't have the time to get it all together. (Have a second interview Monday, wish me luck) KD, I either turn the ends back in on themselves or glue a little on the end. I'll try to post a pic.

Great necklace, Cookie. Doing something creative is the best outlet for depression if you can motivate yourself to get started. Glad you got motivated, now the world has more pretty jewelry in it! Dumb question time- What is a seed beed? Joe

Hey Cookie. Very nice necklace. I like the one on the left in the second pic too(what is showing anyway). As for wishing you luck on your interview, okay, good luck. But you don't need luck aceing the interview, you're gonna walk in there with all the confidence in the world and they'll be begging you to work for them.

You guys are the greatest. Joe, see those itty bitty beads about the size of a...um... seed? That would be them. These were extra tiny and kind of hard to work with, but pretty. cookie

Oh well, I guess my ignorunse about beads shows through. That's Ok. I have enough new hobbies for the moment! Tumbling, wirewrapping, and wanting to get a saw AND a grinder take up all the time and money I can afford. Maybe I'll be asking about beads someday soon, but not today. Those itty bitty things look about the size of pellets and the thought of stringing together pellets makes me feel ill. Too tiny for me! I'm glad you can do the "small" work. It looks cool. Joe

Yea seed beads are fun takes a lot to cover the wire- but the are less expensive and the variety is incredible! Cookie- I too have been bummed- I want to do nothing but work rock- but I'm on the verge of a huge promotion and if all works well I could be sitting pretty for a long time- if it does not work out- well See you in the unemployment line! Good luck with your interview!

Joe, seed beads are smaller than pellets! Cookie that's amazing, I love to create stuff like that but my bead resources are pretty limited and my purchasing power has been restrained! I love the geode pendant! Have you tried those little round bead ends that you glue onto the wire ends?

Hey Joe, hope I didn't offend you, I was picking on ya Maybe the planets are in a funny alighnment or something, so many of us are a little depressed and stressed these days. We will rally together and come through this down time with flags a-waving! The support I get from this forum means the world to me and I want to send that back to all of you. Chins up, we will prevail. Or, Stephen, maybe we can share the government cheeze . My husbands a chef, could come up with some great recipese. He does "cheeze grits" to die for! Thanks, really. I had a bad day and now I feel much better. cookie

Tweet, yes, I've used them, but my new kitty keeps getting my glue and playing with the bottle 'till it's shoved into some unreachable place, along with most of his toys!
