Here's a Royal Sahara I just finished the other day. I had started it a long time ago and decided I didn't like the shape and left it sitting by the Genie for a year or so. Decided to finally reshape it and finish it.

All good things to those who wait. Beautiful cab. It almost looks like a tree with an underground view of the roots.

Thank you! It does look like a tree and roots. The picture is bit more yellow than in good light and there is a bit of a blue patch in the upper right so it has a little sky in there, too.

Robin this is stunning! I love that material. It has an almost mosaic quality to the patterning. Fan-freaking-tastic!

I love the Sahara Jasper, I have a small slab I broke in two. I should take care of it as its been on my desk for as long.

It almost seems like cheating when you work such great stuff. RSJ is one of my favs. Your cab is another reason why.

That is beautiful!
I first looked at it without my reading glasses and was struck by the larger patterns, but after really seeing it, all of the small details are incredible! (I really need to wear my glasses more often!)

Tela, I agree! It is almost like cheating when the stone gives you everything you need in the pattern without even trying.
