Here's a couple Black Skin Agate wraps I did today. As always, I know this style won't be for everyone, but I'm really pleased with these. It's the first time I've done wraps with five wires. My wife said the second wrap looks like it has "peacock feathers" along the side... As always, thanks for taking a gander.

Both of these are beauteous! Good job trimming up those curl ends. Thanks Robin! I was super conscientious about the end of the wires this time! (Sorry I haven't done any rabbit ears for a while. )

(Sorry I haven't done any rabbit ears for a while. ) No worries about rabbit ears. I weave all my bails. I just really didn't like those first bails you were doing much. That's why I was moaning about the rabbit ears.

I really like weaving the bails and how they look on a wrap - and think I'm doing them right...

I really do weave all my bails on my wraps.

Beautiful! The wires complement so well the patterns in the cabs. One might say those patterns are wire traces from another ancient wrap!

That is a really cool perspective on those tubular formations! That made me smile! I’m not a curly cue fan, but I really like those two wraps!! Thanks. Thanks Pat! I know you're usually not a fan of the excessive bling...so that makes me really happy that you like them!

I like how you used the curls to accent the natural patterns within the cabs. They draw my eyes to the patterns within the cabs. Well done.

Great cabs and wraps, Jason! I'm going to echo Beth's statement- the wires really draw your eyes to what is in the stone...nice work!

I really like what you did with those, Jason! The second one in particular. That swoop on the left followed by the little loops does a great job complimenting the pattern of that stone. And the right side balances out the left.

Both are awesome, but that first one... the symmetry is driving me crazy. I love it!

I like how you used the curls to accent the natural patterns within the cabs. They draw my eyes to the patterns within the cabs. Well done. Thanks Beth! That second cab was calling me to rotate it 180 degrees upward, so the tubular formations extended upward. However, when I looked at oriented in the direction I chose, I could imagine using that left side of the cab to follow the tubular pattern. Great cabs and wraps, Jason! I'm going to echo Beth's statement- the wires really draw your eyes to what is in the stone...nice work! Thanks Mike! I have one more preform of this stone that I haven't done yet. It's not the best pattern out of the bunch, so we'll see what happens with that one. I really like what you did with those, Jason! The second one in particular. That swoop on the left followed by the little loops does a great job complimenting the pattern of that stone. And the right side balances out the left. Thanks Brian! After I posted the pics of these, I did a slight correction on that left side. I saw the four loops weren't in alignment as well as I wanted, so I tweaked it a little and made those four loops a little closer to being in line. Both are awesome, but that first one... the symmetry is driving me crazy. I love it! Thanks Tela! I have a real hard time bending the wires on the left side of the wraps...just something about the way it's orienting in my hands. The right side usually flows better when I'm making the bends. It just feels "awkward" doing the left side, as though I'm fighting the flow. LOL

jasoninsd You might want to try doing something I do when symmetry really counts. Start with your non dominant hand. It will be easier for you to "match" that side with your dominant hand.

I also sometimes will turn the wrap upside down so I can use my dominant hand on the other side.

Those are both great. I like the peacock feathers look for sure. Your bail weaves are spot on and I am in awe of the symmetry.

I've gotten a lot more confident with weaving those. I'd have to say that "Peacock" wrap is one of my favorites that I've done so far.
