here is some of the first of my pet wood that i got from Pho anda few bits of Eden Valley pet wood (the very dark shiny pieces) i got from Stoner a long while back. lots of fillerite in this batch and some do-over tiger eye that was tumbled once, then cut in half and tumbled again for pendants/earrings. also some more tropical agate fish for another fish bowl project. this batch tumbled for about three weeks in 60-90 (the reason for so much filler), one week in 120/220, one week in 600 and 13 days in CPP...i have more petwood coming up in the next batch, too. and more fish! thanks for looking! Ooooo I don't know which I like better, the fish or the tiger eye. Ok, yeah I do, it's the fish, those are just awesome. I'd like to know too, did you tumble the fist with everything else? They look amazing, no fractures or chips and a great shine. Excellent job!!!

I really like the "angel fish"!!
Did you preform that KD? What a fluke if it came out like that on it's own!
I'm going to do some sodalite & rose quartz preforms using the dremel for some of my next batch.

no blue goldstone, Kim...don't even know where to get that.
i preform the fish on the trim saw, they are Brazilian agate, so they are pretty tough little guys. i give them a quick buzz on the grinder and then they swim upstream in the tumbler for the whole month or so. i have more coming...

The lustre on that pet and tiger eye is beautiful. Rich color too. May have to make your pet my computer wallpaper for a spell.
Thanks for the eye feast.

Wonderful job there, KD. It all looks great, but that tiger eye in particular looks to have a blinding shine!

K D --
That petwood of yours has really grabbed me. You say you got it ftom "Pho" -- is that a listmember or a business (sorry, I'm still too new to remember everybody here). Do you know if Pho has any of that particular pet rough left?

Excellent job KD. I think this set of fish turned out really nice-not that the first ones were bad. Did I send you some pet wood? By the way, I was at my daughters house recently and even though I used tap water and just grabbed a few branches off a plant outside, there hasn't been any algae build up in the bowl. The water is still crystal clear. Amazing.
