Wow!! I'm happy when I find a 1 pound rock interesting enough to cut more than once. Can't imagine 94lb hunk of material as awesome as that is.

Fatboy Slim title? The other lyric is "Waking up to find your love's not real". Sorry, it woke me up and I love that rock. What size saw did you cut that monster?

94 lbs! How many slabs will that provide? Well Beth, I cut (9) 14 x 6 slabs, plus an end piece And the rock weighs 62 pounds now. So if my math is correct….{^}=~_\x%••¥ Carry the three.. plus 2-\€€><+*^% Somewhere around 30.675 +\- 3 If i cut it the short way? Many more. I like the cross section look on this one

That is one serious and great looking piece of material, I hope it was close to your vehicle when you found it. If had been me, it would have been a quarter mi. from the car and I would have pulled, sprained and probably ruptured every muscle in my body getting it home !
It would have been worth it !

That is some really nice stuff. I do miss my 24 sometimes, but not when I think of positioning something like that in the vice. Being the tool guy, got to ask what brand of saw, my FranTom only opened to about 11 inches, and even at that I had to start the cut with the lid resting on the vice handle and a sheet of plastic to contain as much of the oil as possible. I think the old HP that ended up in Woodmans shop would have done a little better.

A lot of jigging, and rigging is fun Especially when yhe finished cut is smooth
