Thanks Tela! I'll see about going to the hobby stores tomorrow...depending on mood...and will see if they have any in stock locally. Is there a specific reason you haven't used it with water?
The handle is wood. I figure that after awhile I'd start losing bristles, besides I never felt the need.
I have the same brush as Tela. I do use it with water and it has held up fine. It dries pretty fast and I don't use it long enough to really soak the wood. I have never tried it dry -- I'll have to experiment!
jasoninsd - just order it from Rio. I searched both Michael's and Hobby Lobby's websites and nothing showed up doing a search. Save yourself the gas money!

Girl, I always end up picking up a tool that I never knew I needed and now I can't do without. I use this prong closing pliers all the time. www.riogrande.com/product/perfect-set-prong-closing-pliers/111885

Dang! Another specialty plier I now need. It really comes in handy when tucking wires in tight spots.

That's just the story of my whole life! I've said it before...it's easier to ask or forgiveness rather than permission! (Truly my mantra my entire life! LOL) The one with the most toys when they die wins, right? LOL Dang! Another specialty plier I now need. See...this is why I need to search the WHOLE site!

Sorry for the delay, getting caught up after vacation . I'd say the advice you got was spot on, has just the right amount of patina now!

I've got a bunch of wraps I've done so far this week, but I'm going to hold off posting pictures of them until I've done the Liver of Sulphur treatment on them...and "conditioning" them afterward.

copper gold hard stone old west pendant shone jase ! real nice Thanks Ed! I've got some nice ones that I've wrapped this week (that's not meant to sound arrogant! LOL)...and can't wait to post them. I'll probably get some more done in the next couple of days and then post some pics by the weekend...
