Cher- Finding arrowheads is easy- just keep looking- I have never found one but I still keep looking and looking- It helps to reshearch a bit- Find out what the Indians did in your area- where they lived what they ate ect. Always keep in mind the basic essentials in life- Food Water Shelter- If you are near any battlegrounds this is a big plus (keep in mind removing Indian artifacts from protected sites is a FEDRAL OFFENSE!) keep your eyes open for anything (especially rock) that seems out of place- also keep your eyes open for broken points- as they are probably more often overlooked-

Hey james, have you ever found a bird stone? A buddie of mine in IN had one - his dad found an old burial ground on his farm and had lots of interesting things.

keep in mind removing Indian artifacts from protected sites is a FEDRAL OFFENSE That's kind of ironic isn't it? ...Considering the Federal government used to pay 50 cents a scalp to Indian hunters. 9.3 million kills... There are actually accounts that one of the hunters was so sickened by killing babies with his rifle, that he actually had to switch down to his revolver because it was "less messy." It's no wonder why only artifacts remain. The people who made them are all dead, along with their culture's and bloodlines. rockds, no not yet. I plan on making some though. I just need to get my thinning technique done first. I love bird stones.

What's a bird stone? I don't know of any sites around here other than the res that indians might have lived, guess it's time to do some research.
