Outrageous slabs, KD. You'll be as nervous as a long-tailed cat in a room full of 'rockers' when the first one hits the sawblade.
We need a LOTTA pictures as you're working that stuff.

Hey KD ...
Have you ever worked with Carasite?
It is a porcelain jasper, like Morrisonite, Willow Creek or Bruneau jasper.
Carasite is actually found just north of the Morrisonite jasper outcrop. It is a material that is getting much harder to locate ... at least in my part of the country.
You will absolutely fall in love with Carasite ... it is extremely hard for jasper and takes an exceptional polish with Optical Grade Cerium Oxide and Linde "A" polish.
Be sure to post some photo's of the pieces that you work up with those slabs. They will be gorgeous.

If they look that good now, just think how good they will look after KD gets doen with them.

You just proved my theory. Your friends, relatives etc can give you wonderful presents, but only you know what you really would like to receive. Give me the money 'Honey' I'll handle the buying.
