At 13.31 cents being the average cost per kilowatt, how much does it cost to run a Lortone 33b use per month? Lapidary and rock tumbling aren’t cheap hobbies.

Being a cheap hobby was one of my main selling points to my wife hahaha. At least I honestly believed it when I said it. Now that we know better, she tolerates it because it's a good wholesome family activity and the kids love it.

I forgot about an excel sheet I made a while back with my different tumblers on there if anyone would like the template to play around with. You'd just have to know the watts, or volts and amps of each tumbler to enter into the excel sheet. I made it so you can adjust how many hours you think you'll run each tumbler over a year and you can enter your electricity cost in the template as well. I'll try to make it user friendly if anyone wants it. It's totally unnecessary, but I just enjoy playing with excel.

I'm the guy that makes excel sheets for everything. Farming for gear in WoW? Spreadsheet Monthly bill tracking? Spreadhseet Aggregating vote totals for a contest I helped run? Spreadsheet Scoping out a complex bash script I'm writing? Spreadsheet The funny thing is, at least for me, that my rock tumbles, even though it's recommended to track them in a spreadsheet by the modern rock tumbling guide, it's one of the only activities I don't relentlessly catalogue. I just toss em in, run my recipe with any alterations I'm feeling, and see what happens. This will probably bite me one day.
