So recently I was gifted some incredible material by an incredibly generous member here. All that was asked in return was to share some of my creations from the material. To be honest, I've been a bit intimidated by the material but finally got the courage to start working some of it. Hopefully, I did it some justice. But most of all, just wants do say a big thank you again for such a generous gift! Without further ado, here's what I've come up with so far... Not sure of material of this one. There is some chatoyancy in the red and yellow areas. Was thinking maybe Chinese Pietersite. Morgan hill poppy jasper - These last few are indonesian palm wood or palm root. (I think). I absolutely love this material! And this last one is some Amethyst sage from Toad. Well that's all for now but have more awesome material to work still so more to come soon!

Beautiful cabs! I believe you are correct on the Pietersite. I think my favorite is the 6th one, but it's a tough call with so many pretty cabs.

Really fine work on these. Numbers seven and eight look like a mask!

Really fine work on these. Numbers seven and eight look like a mask! Thank you! Haha yeah the face on that cab caught my eye when the slab was at an angle like in pic 8. Was looking at me in shock or disgust lol. So tried to capture it in the cab.

What a great gift, you certainly did them justice. Love the Palm, especially the third one.

Those are all wonderful! I love seeing the plant structure in #6. It’s such a cool pattern. The mask is amazing and incredible to see how the eyes follow you at the different angles. Creepy but cool!

From what I've seen of your prior cutting, this superior material deserved your skill.

What a great gift, you certainly did them justice. Love the Palm, especially the third one. Thank you! I'd seen plenty of palm before but never worked any myself. Its definitely a favorite of mine now.
