I have had this MT for awhile. It broke when I was preforming it and I wasn't sure what to do with it. But, I got it done and saved that happy little face. The stars are pretty cool, too.
This Moroccan Septarian was a long time in the making. I wanted one, yet I had to find one with a good, small pattern for a cab. I did, but it was a half nodule. I had to grind the back to get it the right thickness. Easier said than done. It didn't disappoint. Took a nice polish, too, which was a benny.
This was from Tommy . He was calling it Dragon Stone, I think. BUT, there is a claim on it now and so now it is called Red Falcon- I think. One of those. A Sonoran Crimson Cuprite with hematite. Can't get enough of this stuff. Yes, It's that color. One of the few pieces of good Kokoweef that I have left. Took a gorgeous shine. This Nova Scotia (Bay of Fundy) flame agate looks much nicer in person. It hasn't been in the ultrasonic yet to clean the druzy vug. This reminds me a lot of Stefoinite.
A little freeform of Roan Leopard marble. I like this stuff a lot. Bad picture. A picture stone of some sort. I didn't think it would polish at all, but it did. Not stellar like an Owyhee, but not bad, either. A little Cathedral agate. I shouldn't even post this last one. It didn't photograph well. It is a NS agate. It started out as a big oval, but a crack presented itself horizontally inside the stone. I didn't trust it, so I cut it off. (No scratches just dust and stuff in the stone.) Took an nice agate polish.
That was it for today. I hope y'all have as good a day as that Mt Aggie is having.

Beautiful, my friend! I love them all, but the Septarian is my favorite by far! However, I may have to try that Cathedral Agate some day...

Another great group of cabs Tela! I love the fact you captured the smiley face in that Montana! That Kokoweef is stellar! I really love that lavender that's in the Cathedral Agate!

Spectacular cabs. You really have a good eye for patterns and using them well. I also like your unconventional shapes. I think I need to move away from the common shape rut. I think that your Montana is winking at you.

The shape you chose and were able to accomplish on this "save" is one of my favorite shapes out of all of them. Such a superb recovery and it's amazingly symmetrical on that top edge.

Thanks again, Jason. That oval was really big, so I still ended up with a good size cab. It was a lot of grinding though.
