@rwa2006 I hope the surgery is nothing serious and you heal quickly!

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience."
I had to come back into the thread to extend well wishes for the surgery. When it goes well, you can post a picture of a thumbs up. If it doesn't go as planned, I suppose you could post a picture of a different finger extended up...that's totally up to you though.
Thoughts and prayers.
Favorite Quotes: "It always seems impossible until it is done." - Nelson Mandela "Life becomes easier when you learn to accept the apology you never got." - Robert Brault "You can't wait until life isn't hard anymore before you decide to be happy." - Nightbirde (RIP 2/19/22)
I'm searching for and collecting DIY build threads for the revamped page that is eventually coming on the new website and this one will definitely be there.
Hey, I forgot this thread! The hand healed well and a few weeks later I was able to turn the machine over to my pal. Here's a video of it running, but it's a bit rough and I had to tune it to reduce the vibration.
If we were able to carry the love and tolerance shown here into the world as a whole and get anyone to follow the example set, who knows what could be born from that? Stonemon RIP

ThomasT: It always has amazed my mind that there are about 7.5 gallons in one cubic foot... I suppose due to an optical mental illusion from drinking thousands of gallons of milk...
