Wait...isn't modifying it to an adult content theme justifying what is only, after all, an interpretation? Isn't that like punishing someone for whistling a dirty song. The stone, is, as you pointed out, just a stone. Any interpretation of the image, adult or otherwise, says more about the interpretter than the stone or the thread. I say leave it. Let people see what they will. No one commented about the other cab that had what appeared to me to be a pretty obivious outline of a penis. (see...there...said it. it's a part of the human body...let's just be mature about this. if my four year old can say the word so can we...goodness people!). I say name the cab, see what you want and have done with it. It's a great stone. I'd be pleased to have it in my collection...but the sniggering about it infantilizes all of us. Let's just get over it.

But the more sensitive among us would surely interpret it, you know, sensitively. as a thumb. as a digit. as part of the human hand! anyway...doesn't matter. I heretofore kick my soapbox back under the table and go back to weeping in a corner for the future of my species.

Thank you Sabre. I appreciate it for two reasons.
1. To give fair warning to those who have their children peeking over their shoulders. Let them decide if they want their kids to see it.
2. Being that this is Mark's forum and we need to be considerate of what he's trying to achieve here, I don't think it's appropriate to post it at all, just because of the inuendos that can apply. Sorry but that's the admin side of me coming out. I would not have allowed it simply because it's not putting your best foot forward in regards to guests and others who might be overly sensitive to the object of discussion. I think we should all try to be considerate of others. Ok, off my admin soapbox ... kicking it under the table and crawling over to give herm a tissue and a cookie.

I'm pleading with you...begging you...I'm on my knees snivelling here that, on a board where we speak our minds about politics, about life and death and sickness and health and issues of a most personal nature and, moreover, where (in another thread) someone just yelled "FREE SPEECH" ...i'm BEGGING you not to fall prey to the small mindedness of censuring a thread where the naturally occurring pattern in a rock is open to interpretation. It's silly. just silly.

herm do you not remember me telling you that mine had to stay in time out at brownies for substituting the "f" word in "duck, duck, goose". my hubby picked her up that day and got that lecture. they got in the car and she immediately told me what happened and he said "i told you not to tell" lol.
