Thanks, Jonathan! The pendant is tarnished. It's been sitting in the jewelry box forever. It was nice and shiny a long time ago.

Your tarnish looks better than my tarnish.

Maybe it has something to do with all the Detroit industries that are about 30 miles away from me. My tarnished silver first turns a bronze color, and eventually gets almost black. In any event, I like matte silver. Yours looks matte, and I like it.

This is funny - just found the "bookmatch" slice of St Johns that this pendant was made from. No photo, just a story about finding old "inventory".

Robin might have even liked the pattern better in the one I just found, but the edge was broken out in the wrong direction for the dome.

I might have to cut it one of these days. Jeez, it's only been slabbed for ten years now... .
