Here it is. First one. It's kinda ugly but they can't all be winners right. Thanks for taking a look and any input.

Way to go Lunk! I like how you chose to twist the wire after the binding there in the middle section! Really cool!

Congrats on your first wrap! It looks really good. Time to learn how to patina. Just my personal preference, but I like patinaed copper with Montana Agate.

Soooooo, what's ugly about it? Looks pretty good to me. Thanks. Just a few things about the wrap that I need to get more practice on. I would have liked the bent wires over the cab to have been neater and more uniform. I wasn't sure what to do with the bail so it's kind of just squished together. Also I would have done the twisted wires in opposite directions on each side. I'm happy with it for my first one but need to refine my skills.

Also I would have done the twisted wires in opposite directions on each side. I'm happy with it for my first one but need to refine my skills. Everybody needs to practice, even those of use who have done it for years. When you take a break and don't wrap for a while, sometimes you have to get the rust out and do one or two before the skillz return to normal. There are bail tutorials on the wire wrapping board as well as on YouTube that you can read/watch to get ideas. The wire bending comes with practice. Take your time while you're doing that part and use a critical eye. A couple more and you won't even have to think about it when you're doing it. I'm excited to see your next wrap!

I think it looks good! Somewhere there's a thread about people's first cabs, wraps, etc. If I remember correctly I put my first wrap on there and it was a sight to behold...🤣 Anyway, great job!
